Using the power of education to save lives.
What We Do
We're on a mission to use the powers of education and technology to help save the lives of women of childbearing age and their newborns.
Mission: Health Education + Local Language + Saving Lives
Our e-HEAL (Electronic Health Education in Any Language) Kits will provide vital health information in the local languages that women of child bearing age in rural communities in Nigeria will understand (Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, etc).
Award Winner at the Health Innovation Challenge
e-HEAL Project wins $30,000 at the PHN Health Innovation Challenge
Mavis Health was one of the 5 winners that received an award and a grant of $30,000 from the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (See http://phn.ng/publications.php) for our e-HEAL (Electronic Health Education in Any Language) project. The aim is to reduce maternal and child mortality rates in Nigeria, where about 1 million women of child bearing age and children (under the age of 5) die yearly.
